Lana Hiscock 周美琳

Lana Hiscock 周美琳 is an AHPRA-registered psychologist completing her clinical registrar program and an AHPRA-registered acupuncturist.

She provides evidence-informed psychological care for clients aged 16 and over, using an integrative approach that recognises the close relationship between mental and physical wellbeing.

Lana’s care is primarily centred on psychological therapy. Depending on each client’s needs and preferences, acupuncture may also be included as an optional part of care, provided in supplementary sessions between psychology appointments, or booked as a standalone service.

Clients may choose psychology only, acupuncture only, or a combination of both where appropriate.

  • Burnout and emotional regulation
  • Low mood and symptoms of depression
  • Relationships and communication
  • Fertility and women’s health
  • Sleep concerns
  • Neurodivergent-affirming support
  • Physical symptoms associated with psychological stress
  • General mental and physical wellbeing

Lana works with clients aged 16 years and over. She is not currently offering ADHD, autism or cognitive assessments, and eating disorder services are not part of her current service offering.

Lana aims to provide a safe, supportive and understanding environment where clients can openly explore their concerns and work towards meaningful change.

Her holistic approach considers how stress, sleep, hormones, relationships, physical symptoms and general health may affect a person’s emotional wellbeing and daily functioning.

Her combined background in psychology and acupuncture allows her to consider both psychological and physical perspectives while keeping care individualised and aligned with each client’s goals.

Lana also works in community pharmacy, supporting her understanding of Western medicine protocols, medication and the ways physical health factors may influence mental wellbeing.

Interests

Outside work, Lana enjoys spending time in nature, exploring bushwalking trails and relaxing at the beach.

She is also a keen reader and enjoys everything from thriller novels to books that broaden her knowledge and perspective.
