Helen Jell

Helen has over 30 years of experience in private practice podiatry. She enjoys treating a wide variety of patients, from growth issues in young children to stability issues in those of advanced years, from sports injuries to post-operative recovery, and from ingrowing toenails to painful corns and callouses. Having danced herself, Helen has a special interest in treating ballet and other dancers to prevent injury. She also loves to assist people with difficult-to-fit feet in finding comfortable footwear.

Qualifications
Diploma of Allied Science – Podiatry

  • Chronic foot and leg pain, including developmental issues in children
     
  • Nail and skin issues
     
  • Custom prescribed foot orthotics 
     
  • Assessment of ballet dancers in preparation for pointe work and injury prevention
Interests

Helen has been a lifelong dancer (contemporary, tap, ballet, jazz), and dance teacher and choreographer . She is an actor and director in Brisbane’s theatre scene.
